A recent article from Big Issue entitled “Disabled people are being left out of the climate conversation”, interviewing Disability Rights UK’s Dan White, highlights how several climate mitigation efforts, despite their benevolent appearance, can negatively affect people with disabilities. The article quotes DICARP’s Áine Kelly-Costello and uses statistics from DICARP and IDA’s Status Report on Disability Inclusion in National Climate Commitments and Policies.
